At LLE Consulting, we are passionate about helping our community grow. We care about HOW we show up and HOW we make the biggest contributions in the world. Here are a few examples of the work we’re doing with small businesses, entrepreneurs, and our youth in the community to MAKE A DIFFERENCE.

Richland Library Google Impact Grant: Richland Library Entrepreneur-in-Residence (EiR)

Lasenta Lewis-Ellis with LLE Consulting, a Division of LLE Construction Group, LLC, was selected to collaborate with Richland Library Entrepreneur-in Residence (via a Google Impact Grant) to support entrepreneurs and the innovative business ecosystem in Columbia, SC. As an EiR, Lasenta supported, mentored, and educated new entrepreneurs and budding startups through private one-on-one and group consultation. Lasenta created and facilitated public programs and events (planning three workshops/programs or events for customers, with the assistance of the AMAZING Library Team) to sustain the development and growth of entrepreneurs in the region.

“Mentor MatchUp:” City of Columbia Office of Business Opportunities (OBO) and OnPoint! Media Mentor MatchUP

Lasenta Lewis-Ellis with LLE Construction Group, LLC participated in OnPoint! Media, LLC (Cynthia Hardy) partnering with the City of Columbia (SC) Office of Business Opportunities (OBO) Mentor MatchUp Program. The Mentor MatchUP Program was a mentoring program for women in business to provide professional development, mentorship, and resources for business development. The program teamed seasoned professionals and entrepreneurial women with up and coming small business owners and working women looking to boost career advancement and contribute more to their communities.

Lasenta had the opportunity to mentor the young lady who created the LLE Consulting website, Ms. Kelli Simone Rembert, Founder and Master Designer of The Web Bar, LLC. From mentee to service provider. What an honor!

“Need-A-Lift Transportation Services, LLC”

In June 2015, Lasenta opened Need-A-Lift Transportation Services, LLC, a “Safe, Reliable, and Trusted Transportation for Children-on-the-Go,” that focuses on providing transportation to and from school and afterschool programs and activities for children, teenagers, and college students. Prior to closing in 2019, Need-A-Lift partnered with local employers to provide transportation to and from work for their employees. In 2020, Need-A-Lift will partner with LLE Consulting to provide transportation for Barnwell, SC small business owners to attend business related events in Columbia, SC.

“Beyond the Lemonade Stand Entrepreneur Camp for Girls”

Lasenta is fiercely dedicated to community service and mentorship. During the summer, she partnered with three local, well-known business owners and community leaders, Karen Jenkins, Tameika Isaac Devine, and Dalhi Myers, to host “Beyond the Lemonade Stand Entrepreneur Camp for Girls.” The Entrepreneur Camp was an initiative to bring awareness of entrepreneurship to young girl’s ages 9-17 years of age, the opportunity to share each owners’ experiences in business, and to motivate, encourage, and inspire a new generation of entrepreneurs.
